About the source
Just fifty years ago, Brazil’s rugged mountainous state of Minas Gerais wasn’t considered one of the country’s coffee-growing regions. Ricardo Hirofumi Yoshimatsu and his parents believed otherwise. The family built Fazenda Riacho das Varas in 1975, determined to demonstrate the region’s ability to grow exceptional coffee—and they succeeded.
This coffee is proof that they were right before anyone else, with stunning notes of smooth Lemon Meringue, Honey, and Baker’s chocolate. To the surprise of nobody, when the greater Brazil coffee community realized the area’s potential for high-quality coffee growing, farmers flocked to the region.
