About the source

Many of the world’s most sought-after coffees pass through the famed Refisa washing station, located in Nansebo, in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. The sunshine, high altitude, and coffee plants traced back to wild, forest-found varieties lead to a final cup that’s bold, balanced, and completely unique to this region.

This particular coffee, sourced from the 593 smallholder farmers who belong to the Arsi Refisa G2 Co-op, is a great representative of this area’s quality flavor. With rich fudge, fruity pomegranate, and sweet lemonade notes, it’s a stellar pick for home roasters who want the clarity of washed process coffees, but the uniqueness of Ethiopian-grown beans.
